NatWest group business banking customer

Residential address for all owners

You will need to provide the last 3 years of residential addresses for all owners, partners and shareholders of your business and their full date of birth to ensure we still have accurate information for your business.


Direct debits

You must be the only person required to authorise debits from your business bank account.


Where your business has longer lead times
(such as furniture stores, hotels etc)

We may need extra documentation, such as:

  • Statements from your previous payment provider
  • Business bank account statements (if held elsewhere)
  • Financial records
  • Customer invoices to verify lead times

Each covering the past 6 months.

Residential address for all owners

If you are not a business banking customer of NatWest, RBS or Ulster Bank, you will need to provide the last 3 years of residential addresses for all owners, partners and shareholders of your business and their full date of birth.


Proof of Identity


We'll ask for some form of ID, like a passport, driving licence, national ID card or residence permit, coupled with a short video to verify the owners of the business to make sure it’s not someone trying to open an account in their names.

If your trading address differs from your registered business address, you will be asked to provide proof of this. We will request it by email.
